Mohali student Bijoy Kocchar bags 2nd rank in IIT
The family members and friends of Bijoy Kochar a boy hailing from Mohali got into celebration mode so Swarovski Crystals on after they received the information that he secured the second all India rank in the IIT entrance exam.
His father Dr A P Singh a medical practitioner said that they had been expecting him to do well in the entrance exam. “His rank however is a pleasant surprise for them,” he said.
Bijoy Singh Kochar studied at a local Mount Carmel School and his total score is 377. The family members of Bijoy said that they had got a fair idea of the p Swaro Swarovski Crystals vski Crystals osition after their reflective ranks were uploaded on the internet.
Bijoy who was out of town on Friday stated that he had started preparing for the entrance test when he was in the ninth standard.
“My dream has been fulfilled,” said Bjioy, who followed a focused approach and studied regularly to achieve Swarovski Crystals his goal. Bijoy’s elder brother too is an engineer from BITS, Pilani and his mother is a doctor.
Another boy, Anant Gupta from Chandigarh, secured the second position. Anant was scared to pick up medical stream after he witnessed erratic timings of his doctor parents.
Son of a physician father and a gynaecologist mother, Anant, who was celebrating with his family, said it was the only reason he opted for engineering stream.
“There is no substitute to regular studies and hardwork. I used to study for five six hours daily and it was only during a month from the examination that I added another two hours to it,” he added.
