Money and drugs found in crashed vehicle
A complaint about an erratic driver led police to find $8,800 in cash and about 90 grams of cocaine in a crashe Swarovski Outlet d vehicle on the Tk Indian Reserve.
Police were dispatched early Wednesday morning when a motorist spotted a green 1988 Dodge pickup truck swerve into oncoming traffic o Swarovski Outlet n Westsyde Road near Rue Chez Nous.
The motorist followed the vehicle onto Halston Connector Road, where it drifted into a ditch. Inside the vehicle was a short man in a red shirt. He was gone by the time police arrived, said Staff Sgt. Grant Learned.
Officers found insurance and registration papers. The cash was boxed Swarovski Outlet in several bundles in the console. The cocaine was stashed in several bags.
A police dog followed a track to the Husky gas station. Officers detained and questioned a man who matched the description of the person in the truck. Learned said the Swarovski Outlet man was released without charges pending an ongoing investigation.
The owner of the truck was also interviewed. He told police he loaned the vehicle to a friend but could only remember the friend first name, Learned said.
